WYFSD

TRAILBLAZERS


Look out for Sustainable Swansea 'Trailblazers' during the schools holidays.  Trailblazers is a program of fun and environmentally based activities for children aged 8-14 years old.  A variety of locations including Swansea Community Farm, Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, Red Cafe, Down to Earth, Gower Heritage Centre are included.

Activities include eco arts and crafts, pond dipping, den building, adventure play, treasure hunts, making wool, planting, weaving and all sorts of other activities. All activities are aimed to promote environmental awareness, provide physical stimulation and assist in social development as well as encouraging respect to others and the environment.  Up and coming Trailblazer sites will be posted on the calendar - keep a look out.
