Walk to School Month runs from 1st-31st October, and is a great chance to try leaving the car behind and giving walking a go.  As with Walk to School Week, Walk to School Month has a theme and accompanying resources to help schools plan activities and get pupils and parents ready to walk. 

This year's theme is 'Count me in' - the focus will be on measuring physical activity during the day, helping pupils discover how easy it is to reach the recommended daily 60 minutes of moderate physical activity when walking to school is included. Go to www.walktoschool.org.uk
